Location: Greater Memphis, TN area
Salary Compensation: $290,000 - $320,000 salary; approximate comp. after productivity bonus is $314,000 (15 visits per day) - $464,000 (20 visits per day); Compensation includes base salary + Sign bonus + Quarterly bonus + Retention bonus + Patient visits productivity bi-weekly bonuses + 401K + Full robust benefits package. Relocation bonus if required.

Job Description – Physician Infectious Disease Family Practice / Internal Medicine Physician
Our Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic is in search of an Infectious Disease Physician specializing in Family Practice or Internal Medicine for our outpatient facility. Join a dedicated team focused on serving the local community.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
In this role, Infectious Disease Physicians are responsible for delivering high-quality care, meeting productivity goals, and collaborating with the care team to ensure patient well-being. Accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to fulfill essential duties.
- Manage a minimum of 14 patients per 8-hour shift (or 7 patients in a half-day session). Adjusted targets for extended shifts.
- Supervise patient scheduling to reduce no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
- Complete same-day documentation, including accurate E&M billing codes.
- Provide primary care services for chronic and acute conditions. Not limited to HIV management.
- Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff for urgent care.
- Review consultant reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.
- Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
- Address voicemails/emails daily.
- Support patient retention efforts with summaries.
- Supervise mid-level providers and conduct chart reviews as needed.
- Provide on-call coverage as assigned.
- Maintain AAHIVM certification and receive administrative time.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with active medical license.
- DEA registration and Furnishing License.
- Prior outpatient primary care experience.
- Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supportive environment.
- AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of start date.
- Active CPR/BLS certification.
Education & Skills
- Doctorate (M.D. or D.O.); board certification preferred.
- Ability to interpret and apply clinical, legal, and technical information.
- Effective communication skills for patient interactions, documentation, and presentations.
