This is a full-time position for a SolidWorks Electrical Control Panel Design Engineer at a financially stable, employee-owned company in the dynamic industry they pioneered. The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:
- Designing schematics for electrical control panels (approximately 99% of the time)
- Designing custom machinery
- Developing alternative and/or replacement parts for existing equipment
- Contributing to the design of electrical and control systems
- Ensuring designs meet customer specifications
- Ensuring designs adhere to applicable codes, regulations, and best practices
- Collaborating with purchasing to ensure part availability and cost-efficiency
To be considered for this position, the successful candidate must have:
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in electrical engineering (preferably with SolidWorks Electrical)
- At least 2 years of experience designing schematics for electrical control panels
- Familiarity with current trends in electrical engineering
- An innovative mindset
- A strong work history
- U.S. citizenship or a Green Card
- A residence within a 45-minute commute
