Sales Representative
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Our client is a leading company in the information management industry with locations in major cities across the country. We are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.
Responsibilities:
- Maximize sales of information management services to new and existing customers
- Interact with established customers and develop new prospects to achieve targeted sales
- Generate leads and maintain a pipeline of prospect accounts
- Qualify, research, track, and develop leads into viable business opportunities
- Effectively communicate the value proposition to various organizational levels
- Create compelling business cases, proposals, and presentations for sales opportunities
- Negotiate terms and close sales agreements
- Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote company services
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer requirements
- Provide feedback to the company based on industry knowledge
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience in an enterprise or large account sales environment, ideally selling document management software
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and sell into new account opportunities
- Previous experience in selling document storage or highly transactional B2B services
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with frequent changes
- Strong relationship building skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Understanding of various business processes and document/information flows between departments
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Ability to win competitive major account sales
- Solid business acumen and understanding of how businesses operate across functional areas
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor's degree required
