Sales Representative

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Our client is a leading company in the information management industry with locations in major cities across the country. We are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize sales of information management services to new and existing customers
  • Interact with established customers and develop new prospects to achieve targeted sales
  • Generate leads and maintain a pipeline of prospect accounts
  • Qualify, research, track, and develop leads into viable business opportunities
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition to various organizational levels
  • Create compelling business cases, proposals, and presentations for sales opportunities
  • Negotiate terms and close sales agreements
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote company services
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer requirements
  • Provide feedback to the company based on industry knowledge

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience in an enterprise or large account sales environment, ideally selling document management software
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and sell into new account opportunities
  • Previous experience in selling document storage or highly transactional B2B services
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with frequent changes
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of various business processes and document/information flows between departments
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to win competitive major account sales
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of how businesses operate across functional areas
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
