About the Position:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an HVAC Sales Account Manager. Located in Palmer, MA, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading mechanical services provider.

Job Summary:

As an HVAC Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships while identifying new business opportunities. Reporting directly to the Service Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through consultative selling and tailored maintenance solutions. With your strong understanding of HVAC commercial services, you will provide reliable and cost-effective solutions to meet our clients' needs.

By effectively communicating our service offerings in person and over the phone, you will build trust and foster long-term business relationships. Your goal will be to provide excellent customer service and deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize cold calling, networking, site visits, and industry events to prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets.
  • Generate and manage leads, focusing on planned maintenance agreements and service solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify business development opportunities and support sales efforts.
  • Assess customer needs and provide service recommendations aligned with their operational and financial goals.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating value propositions.
  • Prepare and review accurate client proposals while adhering to company pricing models.
  • Achieve sales targets by expanding market share and maintaining profitability.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to ensure long-term retention.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to balance client interactions and administrative duties.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC commercial service industry.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales or technical field experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and close sales while building lasting client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to sit, see, talk, hear, walk, and use hands to operate office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required.
  • Frequent movement within office, warehouse, and client field locations.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role with frequent field visits to client sites, including construction environments.
  • Some exposure to mechanical rooms, rooftop units, and active job sites may be required.
