Automotive Account Manager

The Position: Automotive Account Manager - Seattle, WA

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage, evaluate, and conduct Needs Analysis to identify and understand customer requirements for company solutions.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales assistance to customers, including retrofit / up-fit work on customer trucks.
• Deliver engaging presentations to customers, showcasing company products and influencing decision-makers.
• Lead and manage customer RFQ processes, offering technical expertise and support.
• Collaborate with project teams and escalate needs within the company when necessary.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting and problem resolutions for sales situations.
• Gather and analyze competitor information, identifying unique selling points of company products.
• Support Field Marketing events such as trade-shows and Customer Tech Days.
• Document and track all activities using Salesforce.com, including activity reports and opportunity/progress status updates.
• Follow up with customers through communications, sending relevant product collateral and marketing materials.
• Handle confidential information, including pricing and technical details.
• Adhere to Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, and support company operations in Mexico as applicable.
• Participate in plant recycling programs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and processes, contributing to quality and management objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Technical Field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in fluid management.
• Ability to travel up to 25% within the assigned region, as well as occasional visits to HQ in Fort Wayne and Mexico facility.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
