What we are seeking:
•A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related Healthcare field, along with at least three (3) years of general experience in the financial/accounting field.
or
A Master's degree in Business Administration or a related Healthcare field, along with at least two (2) years of general experience in the Patient Accounting field.
•Someone who possesses skills in active listening, organizational capabilities, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, time management, and proficiency in Excel. They must also be able to maintain strong working relationships with staff members.
Hours and compensation:
•This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm.
•The salary range is between $47,000 to $70,000, depending on experience, and includes benefits.
Responsibilities:
•Perform accounting functions, including monthly and year-end closing activities and preparation of financial statements. Assist in payroll and accounts payable processes.
•Assist in the development of annual budgets and ongoing monitoring. Provide information and education to the management team for overseeing financial operations.
•Collect information for annual tax, financial audit, and Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
•Prepare and organize financial and accounting transactions, including financial statements.
•Provide support to Directors regarding budgets and financial reports.
•Meet reporting deadlines.
•Support month- and year-end close processes.
•Prepare, verify, allocate, and post journal entries.
•Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
•Prepare requested reports.
•Perform data analysis.
•Effectively multi-task and switch between tasks as required.
•Adapt to different financial and reporting software.
