Cloud Services Alliance Director
Location: Chicago, IL
As the Alliances Lead for Cloud, you will be responsible for enhancing and cultivating relationships with key Cloud partners. Your main focus will involve collaborating on sales, identifying joint opportunities, creating pipelines, and executing partner-led deals.

Main Responsibilities
- Identify & Evaluate Potential Partners – Conduct research to pinpoint strategic partners that can drive business growth. Stay informed about industry trends, attend key events, and network with industry leaders.
- Develop Partnership Strategies – Work with senior leaders to align partnership strategies with overall business objectives.
- Manage Partner Relationships – Oversee and enhance partnerships, explore new go-to-market (GTM) opportunities, and expand business development efforts.
- Co-Develop Cloud Opportunities – Collaborate closely with partners to jointly create and expand cloud-based solutions.
- Pipeline & Lead Management – Take charge of owning, driving, and managing lead-sharing initiatives with partners.
- Solution Delivery – Ensure smooth integration of solutions using partner technologies.
- Marketing & Brand Elevation – Collaborate with partner marketing teams to enhance brand positioning and execute joint marketing initiatives.
- Drive Partner KPIs – Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize partnership success.
Qualifications & Experience
Functional Skills
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging alliances to generate revenue and business opportunities through "Sell With," "Sell To," and "Sell Through" models.
- Strong ability to identify growth trends and develop Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies in partnership with allies.
- Experience in effectively presenting and communicating business value propositions to CXOs, including creating compelling sales presentations and pitches.
Technical & Industry Experience
- 10+ years in sales, business development, or partner sales roles.
- 5+ years of experience collaborating with major cloud providers, particularly AWS.
- Capability to strategically develop partner business plans while also being hands-on in managing field-level and opportunity alignment.
- Passion for partner sales, technology, and cloud solutions.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
