This position is fully REMOTE, with some travel required.
Candidates can be located in the U.S. or Canada, but must have authorization to work in the U.S. (e.g. dual citizenship, U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, green card, etc.). No visas or visa transfers will be considered.

To be eligible for this role, candidates MUST HAVE:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience working with 3-phase power systems in the Utilities and Industrial Market
• Experience with excitation systems or rotating equipment
• Consideration for candidates with experience in static frequency converters
• Minimum of five years' experience as an Application Specialist/Engineer
• Working knowledge of generating power systems and analog/digital circuitry
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of time in assigned sales territories

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers in selecting Company products for systems and components
• Supporting customers with installation, start-up, calibration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving of Company products
• Traveling to assess product potentials, customer needs, and assist in product sales
• Maintaining communication with sales territories for system application support
• Presenting Company products and solutions at conferences
• Participating in marketing activities and industry events
• Collaborating with marketing teams for product development based on market feedback
• Conducting market research, collecting competitive information, and presenting technical papers at conferences
• Creating sales tools such as application notes and leading other application specialists
