Software Systems Engineer
Location: Bluffton, OH
The role of a Software Systems Engineer is to collaborate with the team in creating, managing, and supporting production systems. This includes both new and existing customized applications, as well as ERP and data collection systems. The individual in this position will also work closely with staff from various affiliate companies to gain an understanding of their business processes. The goal is to streamline these processes, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and ensure that our customers experience no disruptions.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
• Must possess at least an Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Programming.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with leadership experience, leadership training, or those who aspire to take on leadership roles.
• Proficiency in managing the company's ERP system, which utilizes IFS, Radley iCARaS, and Radley Data Collection. This entails experience in administering, maintaining, and providing support for SQL and Oracle databases, report writers, business intelligence software, and various programming languages (Python, PL/SQL, Visual Basic).
• Familiarity with robotics and auto-guided vehicles in the context of data collection and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in EDI, Trading Partners, barcode technology, and related standards.
• Experience with applications on Windows and SQL Server.
