- A 4-yr engineering degree, 2+ years of industrial sales application engineering experience and 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience are required to be considered

The company utilizes industry-specific, internet-based engineering software to automate the entire sales applications engineering process. Potential customers enter their data into the website, and quotes, proposals, and follow-ups are automatically generated through the software. This allows Sales Application Engineers to focus on providing the best products for customers. Potential customers can receive quotes and proposals within as little as fifteen minutes. This position does not require any travel. The main duties and responsibilities include:
- Spending 30% of the time on the phone (twenty to twenty-five phone calls daily)
- Applying engineering knowledge to company products
- Investigating customer needs
- Solving customer problems
- Utilizing software throughout the sales process
- Analyzing and providing suitable alternative proposals to company sales professionals
- Communicating via telephone, email, and virtual platforms
Experience in combustion would be beneficial. The successful candidate should have the following background:
- A Bachelor's Degree in engineering
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience
- The ability to enjoy speaking to customers on the phone is essential
- A strong mechanical aptitude
- 2+ years of industrial sales experience
- A solid work history
- Must be a US citizen or green card holder
- Must reside within a 45-minute drive
