Food Sales Representative

Location: Gainesville, FL

Remote Position in the Florida and Alabama Region. Must reside within the region.

Region includes Tampa, Orlando or Gainesville.

Company engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of food and components.

Responsibilities:

Develop and expand business opportunities by targeting independent and corporate food service, restaurants, specialty stores, and c-stores in the area. Aim to achieve sales and profit goals and drive growth.

Formulate and execute strategy, presentations, plans, programs, and promotional activities in consultation with the Director of Sales.

Collaborate with regional brokers to establish sales objectives and priorities for each account, ensuring revenue growth.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of sales experience in the food industry, with a focus on food service, specialty, c-store, and independent accounts.

Familiarity with sales processes and dynamics.

Driven and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Experience working with brokers and distributors.

Proficiency in Excel and customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Highly motivated to seize business opportunities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish rapport with customers quickly. Travel required: Approximately 50%+ within the region.

Compensation:

Salary: $75-100K per year, plus quarterly bonus based on achieved KPIs (sales volume, customer acquisition, sales turnover, CRM use). Additional benefits include a company health plan (Health, Dental, Vision), 401(k) 3% match, cell phone, laptop, car allowance, and vacation time.
