Job Description

• Oversee daily operations and production at numerous asphalt plant and crushing sites
• Supervise both unionized and non-unionized staff, ensuring team efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to strategize and achieve production volume targets
• Work closely with Quality Control to meet technical specifications and standards
• Coordinate external contractors such as welders and electricians
• Promote adherence to safety, environmental, and company regulations
• Contribute to recruitment, training, and growth of plant personnel
• Manage budgets related to plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects
• Establish connections with industry partners and associations
• Available for occasional after-hours emergencies

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in asphalt production
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience (in any industrial setting)
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environments
• Basic computer proficiency required
• Willingness to travel between GTA sites (company truck provided)
