Asphalt Production Manager
Note: This role necessitates in-person presence five days a week at various asphalt plant sites across the Greater Toronto Area. (A company-provided truck will be available)

Job Description
- Oversee daily operations and production at numerous asphalt plant and crushing sites
- Supervise both unionized and non-unionized staff, ensuring team efficiency and safety
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to strategize and achieve production volume targets
- Work closely with Quality Control to meet technical specifications and standards
- Coordinate external contractors such as welders and electricians
- Promote adherence to safety, environmental, and company regulations
- Contribute to recruitment, training, and growth of plant personnel
- Manage budgets related to plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects
- Establish connections with industry partners and associations
- Available for occasional after-hours emergencies
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in asphalt production
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience (in any industrial setting)
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environments
- Basic computer proficiency required
- Willingness to travel between GTA sites (company truck provided)
