Please Note: Salary range is between $90,000 - $120,000 base, with total potential earnings of $100,000 - $150,000 including bonuses.

Job Summary
Our client is in search of a motivated and bright Associate Attorney to join their team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with up to 2 years of experience. While workers’ compensation experience is not mandatory, candidates must display a genuine interest in this area of law. The ideal candidate will be self-assured, proactive, and eager to expand their knowledge within the field. Key responsibilities include:
- Representing injured workers in workers’ compensation claims
- Handling a caseload with an emphasis on settlements and litigation
- Preparing motions, petitions, and discovery documents
- Participating in hearings and depositions before the WCAB
- Working closely with medical and vocational experts
- Maintaining effective communication with clients and ensuring they are informed
Qualifications
- JD degree from an accredited law school
- California bar admission
- 0–2 years of legal experience preferred
- Strong academic background (transcripts needed if no workers' comp experience)
- Desire to pursue a career in workers' compensation law
- Previous experience as a workers' comp legal assistant is a bonus
- Confident, self-motivated, and eager to learn
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
