Position Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for handling various transactional matters related to real estate, corporate, and contract law. You will have the opportunity to have significant client contact and engage in public speaking. We offer an extremely competitive benefits package, including health, disability, and retirement.
Responsibilities:
- Submit a cover letter detailing your skills and background
- Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing or advising cities, municipalities, or other governmental organizations in civil matters
- Demonstrate dedication and hard work through prior work experience
- Show proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other sophisticated software
- Be available during business hours, as well as some evenings and weekends for client meetings
- Show excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
- Manage a high project load and administrative staff
- Draft and review contracts, easements, opinion letters, governing corporate documents, and amendments
- Interact with clients over the phone and in person
- Chair client corporate meetings
- Implement and comply with county real estate and recorders' requirements
