Legal Counsel - Workers' Compensation (Plaintiff Representation)
Important Note: This role will require a hybrid schedule based at our Irvine, CA office.
Please Note: Salary range is between $120,000 - $170,000 base, with total earnings reaching $150,000 - $230,000 including bonuses.

Job Summary
The Legal Counsel will be responsible for handling plaintiff workers’ compensation cases, focusing on securing settlements and championing for injured workers. Main responsibilities include:
- Representing injured workers throughout the workers’ compensation claims process.
- Managing a caseload involving settlement negotiations and some litigation tasks.
- Drafting legal paperwork like motions, petitions, and discovery documents.
- Attending hearings and depositions before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).
- Collaborating with medical and vocational experts to bolster client cases.
- Keeping clients updated on case progress and legal strategies.
Requirements
- Holding a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- License to practice law in California.
- At least 1 year of experience in workers’ compensation law (plaintiff or defense).
- Strong litigation skills, with proficient negotiation and legal drafting abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management competence.
- Client-centric mindset with effective communication skills.
