Senior Auditor
Join an innovative team as a Senior Auditor/Team Leader, located in Beachwood, OH. You will be involved in a diverse range of auditing and assurance projects, collaborating closely with supervisors, managers, and partners. This position plays a crucial role in the planning and execution of audits, the preparation of financial statements, and providing valuable insights to improve client systems and operations.
Primary Duties
- Conduct extensive accounting and auditing projects with minimal supervision.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants, ensuring efficient and high-quality work.
- Lead the preparation of work papers and financial statements according to GAAP or OCBOA standards.
- Participate in the planning and scheduling of client engagements.
- Analyze and enhance client internal controls and processes through detailed assessments and recommendations.
- Effectively communicate with clients to gather necessary information and minimize disruptions.
- Take responsibility for supervising client engagements and building strong client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Preferred CPA or CPA candidate status.
- 3-4 years of progressive experience in public accounting.
- Commitment to 40 hours of continuing professional education per year.
