Salary: $80-115K plus bonus

Job Summary of the Robotic Engineer: You will assess and design technical and business solutions for projects that require capital investment in the field of robotic engineering. You will determine the success criteria for system requirements and select the most cost-effective, timely, and high-performing equipment. Additionally, you will develop standards, methods, and designs for controls and electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Your focus will be on applications related to processing, filling, and packaging. You will collaborate within a technical team environment.

Job Responsibilities of the Robotic Engineer:

· Execute projects from start to finish.

· Develop comprehensive and concise project submittal packages to ensure project success.

· Assess physical placement and general arrangement (drawing level); assess infrastructure requirements.

· Report to the Plant Engineering Manager and collaborate with the Project Manager to determine preliminary cost estimates for capital and expense.

· Determine a design schedule in line with the overall project schedule; establish equipment/system performance criteria.

· Draft detailed functional control/electrical descriptions for the unit operation.

· Independently manage and coordinate projects.

· Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

· Participate in plant trials and conduct experiments as needed.

· Present written and oral technical reports to supervisor; interpret, develop, and issue technical specifications.

· Develop expertise in operating systems for processing, filling, and packaging in assigned areas.

· Possess a fundamental understanding of food manufacturing environments.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and commercial applications in food packaging.

Education & Experience of the Robotic Engineer:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Robotics Engineering with a focus on controls for processing/packaging/filling equipment design and electrical systems.

· Prior experience in control system design for 2-7 years is required.

· Experience in the food manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD software and electrical schematics is required.

· Technical understanding of manufacturing systems and equipment is necessary.

· Experience working with Rockwell Controls and/or GE, as well as networking, is a plus.

· Must be able to work in a complex facility with a high degree of automation and emerging projects involving AI technology.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
