Bakery Operations Manager

We are an established marketplace and event catering company that specializes in creating delicious dishes and menus for special occasions. From fine dining experiences to relaxed buffets, we cover it all, including cakes and custom wedding cakes.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 20 employees. Your duties include implementing processes and practices, developing strategies to improve performance, procuring materials, managing inventory, ensuring compliance, and training the team to provide excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for monitoring inventory, department efficiency, food safety, and local health regulations. Additionally, you will oversee financial data, budgets, forecasts, workflow, quality controls, and key performance indicators. Coordination with other departments for special projects and promotions is also required.


We are seeking candidates with at least 3 years of experience in Bakery Management or as a Pastry Chef. Strong leadership skills are essential for this role. Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, managing food costs, food safety regulations, and implementing proper procedures is required. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for customers are also necessary. Experience in hiring and training bakery staff is preferred.
