Job Summary

• Serve as legal counsel for clients involved in business bankruptcy and creditors' rights disputes.
• Manage all aspects of cases in state and federal courts, including pre-trial preparations, negotiations, client interactions, court appearances, motions, discovery (including depositions), mediations, and trials.
• Oversee complex commercial litigation cases associated with bankruptcy proceedings.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and offer strategic advice to clients.
• Advocate on behalf of clients in both trial and non-trial settings.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in business bankruptcy litigation.
• Background in creditors’ rights and bankruptcy litigation as well as proficiency in managing intricate commercial litigation cases.
• Excellent drafting, writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to independently handle cases and bring them to resolution, including trial.
• Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Exceptional judgment, leadership abilities, and capability to work well under pressure.
• Strong client-facing skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Outstanding academic record.
