Seeking a Structural Building Design BIM Specialist for a Client located in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating BIM-generated structural drawings for various project types and industries, such as manufacturing, distribution, commercial buildings, and more.

• Developing virtual structural models based on provided markups to support construction, fabrication, and procurement.

• Utilizing expertise in software modeling to serve as a skilled BIM technician within a specific design discipline.

• Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure project deliverables meet specifications and quality standards.

• Producing detailed construction documents and extracting data using BIM platforms.

• Working closely with engineers and designers to align models with project requirements.

• Applying engineering principles and detailing standards effectively.

• Managing design documentation using BIM tools for integrated project delivery.

• Attending conferences and workshops to stay updated on BIM best practices and software advancements.

• Developing BIM content specific to the structural discipline.

• Reviewing shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project requirements.

• Implementing procedural and standards updates for effective communication with project teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant technical certification preferred.

• 2–7 years of directly related experience.

• Proficiency in Revit is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with structural design involving wood, structural steel, concrete, and more.

• Familiarity with various foundation systems in construction projects.
