This enables the Sales Application Engineers to focus on providing the best product solutions for the customers. The software allows potential customers to receive quotes and proposals within 15 minutes of providing their information. Travel is not required for this position. The key responsibilities and duties are as follows:
- 30% of time spent on phone calls (averaging twenty to twenty-five calls per day)
- Apply technical engineering knowledge to company products
- Investigate customer needs
- Solve customer problems
- Utilize software throughout the sales process
- Analyze and provide appropriate alternative proposals to company sales professionals
- Communicate effectively through telephone, email, and virtual channels
Experience in combustion-related applications would be beneficial. The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum five years of mechanical engineering experience
- Strong inclination towards customer communication over the phone
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Minimum two years of industrial sales experience
- Consistent work history
- Must be either a US citizen or Green Card holder
- Residence located within a 45-minute commute from Richfield, WI
