Director of Corporate Expansion

Location: Minneapolis, MN

The position available is for a Director of Corporate Expansion located in Minneapolis, MN. The Director of Corporate Expansion is an individual contributor who will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, establishing relationships, and gaining an understanding of the customer's critical business strategies within their assigned accounts. They will then collaborate with a team of subject matter experts to develop and execute a solution that helps the customer achieve their business objectives.

The main objective of the Director of Corporate Expansion is to transform inspiration into tangible results for clients. They possess a deep understanding of how to attract, engage, and retain employees, implement effective sales contests and incentives, build dynamic customer loyalty programs, and create impactful corporate events better than anyone else.

Our company is currently seeking a qualified Business Development Director to join our team covering the Minneapolis/St Paul area. This role is a hybrid opportunity, requiring the candidate to live within a commutable distance to the office.

Qualifications:

- Must currently reside within the specified market as this is a hybrid role that requires office presence when not in the field.

- Minimum of seven years of direct B2B sales experience, specifically targeting F500 companies. The candidate should not have held more than three jobs in the past ten years.

- Demonstrable history of new business development, selling marketing solutions or professional business services, with proven success in prospecting and revenue growth within large accounts.

- Experience in high-volume sales ($250k+ per sale).

- Familiarity with a wide range of sales cycles, spanning from three to six to twelve months.

- Compensation structure based on highly leveraged commissions and bonuses.

- Preferred: Four-year college degree.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products is required, while proficiency with web, SaaS, and mobile applications is a plus.

Base Salary is $135K (non-negotiable) plus commissions. (175k - 200k 1st year OTE)
