Corporate Growth Strategist

Location: Fairfield, NJ

Our client has nearly three decades of experience in the cabinetry industry, specializing in kitchen and bathroom solutions. They have primarily operated on the east coast and have recently expanded into other markets throughout the United States. Their focus is on providing high-quality, economically designed kitchen cabinets for mid and hi-rise buildings.

Due to their continued growth, our client is currently looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team in Fairfield, NJ. This role will be a hybrid position, involving work from the New Jersey office as well as maintaining the assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for top-tier client accounts, responsible for acquiring new clients while also ensuring the satisfaction and growth of existing clients (meeting and surpassing quotas).
  • Demonstrate strong sales skills by actively seeking new relationships and securing deals with new contractors.
  • Identify new opportunities, engage with decision-makers, respond to requests for proposals (RFPs), gather necessary information, cultivate strong professional relationships, position the company favorably, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize the potential for winning large contracts.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify key decision-makers and influencers within the industry.
  • Manage both short-term and long-term sales pipelines.
  • Efficiently leverage internal resources, including dedicated teams and executive staff, to maximize opportunities and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Secure contracts with new contractors.
  • Ensure all relevant information is accurately recorded in the company's CRM system.

Main Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in prospecting and winning business from developers, builders, and general contractors involved in mid-to-hi rise building projects.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a car for travel purposes.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000, with additional commissions, benefits, and ample paid time off.
