Simulation Engineer
We are collaborating with a Global Automotive R&D Firm to lead a search for a Simulation Engineer at their North American HQ in Dayton, OH.
If necessary, we will provide VISA sponsorship and assist with relocation for candidates residing within a 500-mile radius of Dayton, OH.
Simulation Engineer (job description)
· This role involves creating and documenting modeling plans for the engineering team, as well as implementing new processes and tools using FEA and computer engineering programs/software.
· The engineer will also be responsible for overall development, testing, and evaluation, providing support for mass production based on client and internal requirements.
· Collaborating with design and product development teams to identify and report on product problems or failures, with the aim of improving the product.
· Working in cross-functional teams within the organization to deliver products that meet customer and company requirements.
· Developing trust and teamwork, while fostering an environment of continuous improvement and achievement for all employees, following the company's philosophy and guiding principles.
· May be involved in multiple projects to ensure total customer satisfaction and adherence to quality standards and procedures.
MUST HAVE’S
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience
Skills Required:
- Knowledge and experience with FEA software such as Hypermesh, Nastran, and Abaqus
- Strong understanding of FEA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills Desired:
- Experience in 3D and 2D drawings
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems
- Knowledge of metal fatigue
