Requirements:
•Must hold current licensure in the State of Ohio as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Technologist (Radiography, Cardiovascular); three years of catheterization experience preferred.
•Must possess and maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Hours and Compensation:
•This is a full-time position on day shift from 7:30am to 4:00pm, with call rotations every 3 weeks for evenings and weekends, requiring a 30-minute response time. Call rooms are available if needed.
•Compensation ranges from $29 to $36.33 per hour based on experience, with on-call pay at $4 per hour. Overtime pay is 1.5 times the hourly rate (minimum of 1 hour pay if called in).
A comprehensive benefits package is included, along with a $20,000 retention bonus paid in 3 installments over a two-year agreement.
Responsibilities:
•Provide high-quality cardiovascular care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures, assisting physicians throughout. Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and physicians. Assist in operating technical equipment during procedures.
•Help set up cardiac catheterization lab rooms by arranging necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
•Demonstrate expertise in equipment used, pressure monitoring, cardiac anatomy, EKG interpretation, sterile techniques, and radiation safety measures.
•Maintain detailed documentation of all procedures and patient care, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
•Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and goals.
