The ideal candidate:
•Must be registered by the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as either a RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer), or registered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as either a RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist).
•BLS certification within 30 days of employment is required. ACLS certification within 6 months of employment is preferred.
•Previous experience in cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease is preferred.
Working hours and compensation:
•This is a full-time position on the day shift.
•The compensation ranges from $32/hr to $46/hr, depending on experience.
•A comprehensive benefits package is also included.
Responsibilities:
•Independently perform professional level assessments and various non-invasive studies using ultrasound and related diagnostic technology, documenting the results and clinical preliminary impressions as necessary.
•Handle daily examination evaluation challenges with limited supervision.
•Maintain regular contact with professionals and families.
•Possess advanced knowledge of cardiac and peripheral vascular anatomy, physiology, and disease as a full performance Cardiovascular Sonographer.
•Assist with transthoracic echo, transesophageal and stress testing, as well as peripheral non-invasive testing, carotid and transcranial duplex, aorta, and renal duplex scans.
