Position Summary

  • Support Occupational Therapists in administering occupational therapy treatments
  • Aid patients in enhancing mobility, strength, and independence in daily tasks
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
  • Adhere to and adjust treatment plans as instructed by the Occupational Therapist
  • Record patient sessions and maintain precise documentation
  • Supervise therapy technicians and support staff
  • Interact with patients of diverse backgrounds and ages
  • Participate in community outreach and promotional activities

Qualifications

  • Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
  • Wyoming Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Understanding of upper extremity, pediatric, and neurological treatments
  • Exceptional communication and patient care abilities
  • Aptitude for collaborative work in a fast-paced setting
