Position Summary
- Support Occupational Therapists in administering occupational therapy treatments
- Aid patients in enhancing mobility, strength, and independence in daily tasks
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
- Adhere to and adjust treatment plans as instructed by the Occupational Therapist
- Record patient sessions and maintain precise documentation
- Supervise therapy technicians and support staff
- Interact with patients of diverse backgrounds and ages
- Participate in community outreach and promotional activities
Qualifications
- Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
- Wyoming Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligibility to obtain one
- Understanding of upper extremity, pediatric, and neurological treatments
- Exceptional communication and patient care abilities
- Aptitude for collaborative work in a fast-paced setting
