Position: CNC Field Service Engineer

Shift: 1st Hours:7:30am -5:00pm Type: Full-Time Mode: Direct Placement

Pay: $24hr - 33hr (Dependent on experience)

Our client is seeking a reliable Field Service Engineer. This is a Direct Placement role with our primary manufacturing client. To be considered for this position, candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience as a service technician.

• Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics, including high voltage (220-440v), low voltage (12v-24v), and combined systems. Ability to apply knowledge of electricity, along with using a schematic and multimeter for diagnostic purposes.
• Adept in using a multimeter to test voltage, current, and resistance.
• Understanding of PLCs and their interaction with power supplies, inputs and outputs, different switches, and an HMI.
• Familiarity with servo drives and motion control.
• Ability to interpret pneumatic schematics.
• Advanced mechanical skills, including expertise in using common hand and power tools, as well as the ability to disassemble and reassemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Capacity and willingness to learn the fundamentals of CNC lathe controls (such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens, etc.) and lathe programming in relation to magazine bar feeding and CNC lathe part processing.
• Professional interaction with key customers (end users and OEM-dealers) before, during, and after bar feeder installation and training.
• Travel: 70-85% overnight travel (nationwide)

• Mechanical aptitude: Field service technicians utilize their hands and a variety of tools to install and repair equipment, requiring good mechanical skills
