Channel Account Executive – Copiers – REMOTE (Mid-West)

Our client is a leading provider of digital imaging solutions for consumer, business-to-business, and industrial markets in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Currently, we are seeking an Account Executive, Technical Sales, for the Mid-West region who can help drive sales by developing strategies with key decision-makers.

This is a full-time virtual/remote position based in Chicago, IL with an anticipated annual salary range of $70,000-104,000. The position is commission eligible under a 65/35 split plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies with key decision makers in the dealer sales channel and end users
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned dealers and/or offices to promote strong business relationships
  • Effectively communicate with Fortune 500 customers, including CEOs, CIOs, and CFOs, presenting high-level sales strategies, ROI, and technical workflow analysis
  • Provide technical knowledge and support to dealer sales channel and end user customers, including detailed analysis and recommended hardware and software solutions
  • Manage dealer sales channel accounts, territories, marketing programs, education, and other channel-related support
  • Conduct introductory sales calls, develop retail sales channel proposals, and provide bid support assistance
  • Coordinate and implement product launches and equipment/software updates with dealer sales channel
  • Manage certain events/tradeshows as the coordinator
  • Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
  • Have a working knowledge of company products and services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is REQUIRED
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Experience with copier sales/A3 market required
  • Preferred experience in B2B retail sales, customer face-to-face interactions, copier dealer, or copier manufacturer
  • CompTIA CDIA/CDIA+ Certification
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification
  • 5+ years of sales/sales support and industry-related experience
  • Sales Certification in 6 core Skill-Soft areas:
    • PROFESSIONAL SELLING IN THE KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY SIMULATION
    • FIELD SALES SIMULATION
    • TERRITORIAL ACCOUNT SALES SKILLS SIMULATION
    • SALES MANUFACTURING (TM): OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPMENT SIMULATION

  • Expect to travel over 75% in the Northeast or Mid-West for this position
