Hours and Compensation Potential:

  • Full-time day shift position, occasional evening group coverage.
  • Compensation ranges from $46K to $63K depending on experience.
  • Full benefits package offered.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must be licensed by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.
  • Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor required.
  • Current licensure by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as a LCDC II, III, or LICDC. Higher than CDCA.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide therapeutic counseling to individuals struggling with chemical dependency using a bio-psychosocial approach.
  • Educate patients and families about the disease process of chemical dependency.
  • Lead group discussions, work one-on-one with patients, and assign group activities for Mental Health Technicians.
  • Assess patient needs and recommend appropriate groups.
  • Complete billing charges/sheets daily.
  • Utilize historic and current data to assess patient needs and provide effective counseling.
  • Provide individual and group crisis intervention, as well as family clinical interventions.
  • Act as a client advocate, mediator, and facilitator.
