Hours and Compensation Potential:

  • Full-time day shift position, with occasional evening group coverage. Hours could be 32hrs a week or 40 hours a week.
  • Compensation ranges from $22.13/hr to $30.46/hr depending on experience.
  • Full benefits package offered.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must be licensed by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.
  • LSW or LPC required.
  • Current licensure by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as a LCDC II, III, or LICDC. Higher than CDCA.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide therapeutic counseling to individuals struggling with substance abuse using a bio-psychosocial approach.
  • Educate patients and families about the disease process of substance abuse.
  • Lead group discussions, work one-on-one with patients, and assign group activities for Mental Health Technicians.
  • Assess patient needs and recommend appropriate groups.
  • Complete billing charges/sheets on a daily basis.
  • Utilize historic and current data to assess patient needs and provide effective counseling.
  • Provide individual and group crisis intervention, as well as family clinical interventions.
  • Act as a client advocate, mediator, and facilitator.
