The Child Protection Program is dedicated to providing comprehensive medical evaluations for suspected victims of abuse in the greater Philadelphia area. Our team consists of two board-certified child abuse pediatricians, a dedicated social worker, nurse, and support staff. Each year, we conduct numerous evaluations for suspected cases of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. These evaluations take place in various settings, including inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, and the city's regional Child Advocacy Center. We work closely with local investigators to share medical findings in a timely manner for each case. Our program is also committed to educating and training medical students, residents, and fellows in the region. We are seeking a pediatrician who is interested in program development and education. The selected candidate will be appointed at Drexel University College of Medicine, our hospital's academic affiliate.
