Construction Project Manager
A highly qualified and licensed Civil/Land Development/Roadway/Utilities Engineer is needed to provide assistance with studies, reports, designs, and plans. This position is suitable for a Level 3 or 4 Professional Consultant with a degree from an ABET-accredited university and a minimum of 5 years of licensure as a professional engineer in a state with Florida reciprocity. Candidates must be able to obtain Florida licensure within 4 months of being hired. The role of a Project Engineer is primarily focused on both private and public-sector projects and requires individuals with strong work ethics and professionalism.
This position is based in Venice, FL and will work under the direction of a supervisor assigned by the VP of Engineering.
Key Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering (required) and 3 years of experience in project management (preferred)
- Proficiency in civil and/or structural engineering analysis, design, and permitting
- Skilled in computer modeling using software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, ICPR, ARC Map (GIS), and MODRET
- Experience in preparing plans and specifications that comply with current municipal and state codes
- Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written, with excellent technical skills, open-mindedness, and a collaborative work ethic
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Engineer Intern (E.I.) in Florida or a reciprocal state
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $85,000 to $150,000, depending on educational background and experience
