Speech Therapist

Location: Tuscaloosa, AL

Our team is expanding and seeking a top-notch Speech Therapist to provide outstanding care for our exceptional patients. (Clinic Based)

Speech-language pathologists aim to prevent, evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.

Responsibilities:

Deliver life-altering treatment, assistance, and support to children and adults coping with difficulties in communication, eating, drinking, and swallowing. You will assist individuals who encounter difficulties speaking and communicating for physical or psychological reasons.

Patients may have the ability to engage in other activities but require speech therapy. Additionally, you may be responsible for educating the staff about the importance of speech therapy.

License or Certification:
Must possess a current SLPA certificate on or prior to the first day of employment.
CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver's License
Education, Training and Experience:

Minimum requirement: Associate degree and/or completion of a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
