What we are seeking:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and an active Ohio RN License. REQUIRED
• Current ACLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in Nursery, Lactation, and Pediatrics. REQUIRED
• Strongly preferred experience with a Level 2 ICN.

Hours and compensation:
• This is a full-time position primarily on day shift.
• The salary range is $61,000-$82,000 per year, depending on experience.
• Comprehensive benefits package included.

Responsibilities include:
• Implementing education programs for the healthcare system's Nursery, Lactation, and Pediatric Department, as well as assisting with other educational needs within the Women and Children's Service line as directed by the Director.
• Coordinating the implementation of programs using effective adult learning principles.
• Developing and implementing mandatory education programs in accordance with OSHA, AHA, and HFAP.
• Coordinating new employee orientation and matching new hires with compatible mentors.
• Providing hands-on instruction, developing classroom instruction, and supporting new hires and mentors throughout the orientation process.
• Ensuring completion of education records and scheduling/tracking mandatory education and recertification.
• Providing education and training on unit-specific equipment and procedures.
• Keeping the department updated on policy changes, EPIC issues, and serving as a department super user.
• Serving as a department liaison for various programs and accreditation, assisting in survey preparation, and participating in surveys conducted by ODH and HFAP.
• Collaborating with Education Services and local universities to establish clinical opportunities.
• Facilitating large and small group training sessions with a positive attitude.
