Hours and Compensation Potential:
Full-time position with a combination of day and evening shifts.
Work shifts are rotated and span 8 hours, starting at 5am, 7:30am, 12:30pm, and 1:30pm.
Approximately 80% of shifts are during the day and 20% in the evening. Weekend shifts are rotated, typically occurring every 4th weekend.
Compensation ranges from $54/hr to $75/hr, depending on experience.
Evening, night, and weekend shifts receive a $2.75/hr shift differential.
Full benefits package and a sign-on bonus included.
What We're Seeking:
PharmD degree required. Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the State of Ohio.
Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Applicants with a background in retail pharmacy will also be considered.
Prepare and dispense medications to patients while offering drug information and educating all customers to optimize the quality of care.
Accurately input medication orders into the computer system to ensure the patient's medication profile is complete.
Provide customers with timely and accurate drug and toxicological information to enhance knowledge and minimize risk of adverse events.
Perform precise calculations of nutritional ingredients for TPN to ensure accurate administration of patients' nutritional therapy.
Monitor patients' drug therapy by screening for potential medication issues such as interactions, incompatibilities, and allergies to avoid harm.
Apply pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic principles to customize drug dosing for individual patients.
Additional Information:
This position reports to a new Director after the retirement of the previous director.
