Hours and Compensation Potential:
Full-time role encompassing a combination of day and evening shifts.
Shifts are rotated and span 8 hours, with start times at 5am, 7:30am, 12:30pm, and 1:30pm.
Approximately 80% of shifts occur during the day, while 20% are in the evenings. Weekends are rotated, typically every fourth weekend.
The compensation range is $54/hr to $75/hr, depending on experience.
Evenings, nights, and weekends entail a shift differential of $2.75/hr.

What We're Looking For:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree is required. Must hold a valid Pharmacist license in the State of Ohio.
Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred, although candidates with a background in retail pharmacy will be considered.
What You'll Be Doing:
Prepare and/or dispense medications to patients, offering drug information and education to optimize the quality of care.
Ensure accurate medication order entry on the computer system, maintaining the completeness of patients' medication profiles.
Timely and accurately provide drug and toxicological information to customers to enhance knowledge and minimize risks or adverse events.
Precisely calculate caloric and/or electrolyte ingredients for Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), ensuring proper administration of patients' nutritional therapy.
Monitor patients' drug therapy by screening for potential medication issues such as drug interactions, incompatibilities, and allergies, resolving them to prevent harm.
Apply pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic principles to tailor drug dosing for individual patients.

This position reports to a new Director who assumes the role after the retirement of the previous director.
