Job Summary for the CNC/Assembly Process Technician: We are seeking a skilled CNC/Assembly Process Technician to enhance our manufacturing processes for CNC machining and assembly. In this role, you will optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure that our products meet quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities of the CNC/Assembly Process Technician:

  • Develop or revise standard operating and working practices.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing processes and procedures related to CNC Machining and Assembly.
  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot processes on machining and G-code.
  • Assist in creating work instructions and set up for manufacturing processes.
  • Make changes to existing procedures and work processes as needed.
  • Review production and operating reports to resolve operational, manufacturing problems and minimize costs and delays.

§ Examine documents like blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.

§ Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.

§ Utilize data analysis tools to identify areas for improvement in current manufacturing processes, including inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and safety hazards.

§ Develop and design optimized manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.

§ Implement strategies for continuous process improvement.

§ Provide training on new processes and procedures to manufacturing personnel, ensuring understanding and adherence to safety protocols.

§ Maintain thorough documentation of manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process manuals.

Education & Experience for the CNC/Assembly Process Technician:

*Knowledge and experience with CNC machining and Assembly.

*Experience creating work instructions for machine setup and manufacturing processes.

*Technical experience working with manufacturing processes

*Background in G code.

*Ability to troubleshoot

*Knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and various processes, tools, and manufacturing equipment.

*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

*Preferred experience with ERP/MRP applications.

*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
