Position: Second Shift CNC Machinist

Location: Meriden, CT

Shift: 2nd | Hours: 3 PM - 11 PM

Type: Full-Time

Our client in Meriden, CT is currently seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist with at least 5-axis experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to set up, operate, and adjust machines with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform setup and operation of CNC machining centers, including adjustments and troubleshooting of controllers, machines, and processes.
  • Read and interpret blueprint requirements, select appropriate tools, and set feeds and speeds.
  • Conduct inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, and be capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, including tools, equipment, and machines, and reorder tools as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of experience in CNC 5-axis milling setup and operations
