Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist (Second Shift)
Location: Springfield, MA
Shift: 2nd Shift | Hours: 3 PM - 11 PM

Pay Range: $25 - $32 per hour | Industry: Manufacturing

Job Summary:
We are in search of an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who specializes in 5-Axis machining. The chosen candidate will be responsible for independently setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC machines to produce top-notch parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-Axis) following detailed blueprints.

• Resolve any controller, machine, or process issues by making necessary adjustments and troubleshooting.

• Choose appropriate tools and adjust feeds and speeds to meet production requirements.

• Use precision hand tools to inspect machined parts and ensure they meet quality standards.

• Work independently and maintain high productivity levels with minimal supervision.

• Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs. as required for the job.

• Keep the work environment, including tools, equipment, and machinery, clean and well-organized.

• Monitor inventory levels and reorder tools as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Proven experience in setting up and operating CNC 3 & 4-Axis lathes.

• Preference given to those with a background in the aerospace industry.
