CNC Milling Operator

Location: Springfield, MA

Our client in Springfield, MA is currently seeking a CNC Milling Operator for our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, with a preference for candidates who have experience in 4-Axis Milling.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and operating CNC Machining Centers
  • Performing machine adjustments and troubleshooting controllers, machines, and processes
  • Executing countersinking processes
  • Working from blueprint requirements
  • Selecting tools, setting feeds and speeds
  • Performing inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate overhead cranes for large-part manufacturing
  • Maintaining a clean work environment and shop floor
  • Reordering tools as needed

Requirements:

  • 4 - 6 years of experience with CNC Milling, CNC Lathe/Turning, or CNC Swiss
  • High school diploma
  • Experience with electro-mechanical parts/processes preferred
