We are in search of a skilled CNC Programmer with a minimum of 10 years of practical experience in utilizing Mastercam to join our efficient manufacturing team. The perfect candidate will be tasked with programming multi-axis CNC machines, fine-tuning tool paths, enhancing cycle times, and ensuring accuracy and quality in all machined components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, compose, and optimize intricate CNC programs using Mastercam for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines

• Decipher and scrutinize blueprints, engineering models, and GD&T specifications to establish tooling requirements

• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to maximize efficiency and precision

• Conduct test runs and troubleshoot CNC programs to confirm functionality prior to production

• Collaborate closely with machinists, engineers, and quality control to ensure manufacturing objectives are achieved

• Manage and arrange program files, setup sheets, and associated documentation

• Constantly enhance machining processes to decrease cycle times and enhance surface finishes

• Aid in machine setups as necessary and provide technical support to shop floor personnel

• Stay informed on advancements in CNC and Mastercam technologies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in CNC programming using Mastercam

• Proficient in 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC programming

• Solid understanding of G-code, M-code, and various CNC machine controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, etc.)

• Capability to interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints

• Thorough knowledge of materials (metals, plastics, composites) and their machining properties

• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

• High level of attention to detail and a dedication to quality

• Outstanding organizational and communication skills

• Experience with CAD/CAM integration and post-processor customization is beneficial

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP or MRP systems

• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards
