Corporate Insurance Account Manager

Location: Newton, NJ

Our client is a successful commercial insurance agency located in Sussex County, NJ that is dedicated to providing exceptional client care through honesty, integrity, and a strategic business approach. They are currently expanding their team and are in search of a licensed and experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to join them in Newton, NJ.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Act as the main point of contact for a designated portfolio of commercial lines business, ensuring all client service needs are met professionally and efficiently.

  • Strategic Planning: Employ strategic thinking to anticipate client requirements and offer customized insurance solutions.

  • Daily Interaction: Establish and maintain strong client relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and advising on insurance products on a daily basis.

  • Rate-Making and Underwriting: Showcase expertise in rate-making and possess general knowledge of underwriting processes to effectively support client needs.

  • Staff Coordination: Lead and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and address everyday operational obstacles.


Requirements:

  • Licensing: Active insurance license is a must.

  • Industry Expertise:

    • Proficient in insurance jargon, protection solutions, and policy application to meet client needs.

    • Familiar with rating processes and available insurance markets.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing commercial business.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    • Knowledge of Applied TAM software preferred.

  • Professionalism:

    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

    • Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and proactive problem-solving skills.

  • Professional Designations:

    • Desirable designations include CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU, or AAI.
