A privately held oil and gas exploration and production company with operations across the Appalachian Basin is seeking a dynamic Corporate Pricing Strategist to drive revenue optimization, price exposure mitigation, and industry partnership management.
Responsibilities:

Create and implement effective pricing strategies for oil, natural gas, and NGL products to secure competitive sales agreements.

Lead negotiations for favorable terms in product sales contracts.

Monitor performance against targets and oversee marketing and trading budget.

Analyze market trends, opportunities, and risks to inform pricing decisions.

Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, trading counterparts, and customers.

Develop and manage hedging program using various instruments to mitigate risk.

Stay informed on market drivers and macroeconomic trends to guide strategic decisions.

Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Stay up-to-date on energy market developments, policy changes, and pricing mechanisms.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Petroleum Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in gas marketing, risk management, or commercial roles in the oil and gas industry.

Proven track record in structuring and executing energy marketing strategies and hedge programs.

Strong understanding of commodity pricing, energy markets, and risk management techniques.

Proficiency in hedging tools and financial instruments for energy trading.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial modeling software.

Ability to prioritize and perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
