RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Commercial Construction Manager, you will oversee projects primarily in South Carolina with a focus on those valued at $8 million and higher. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising all on-site construction activities, coordinating trades and field personnel, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining construction safety practices
- Managing construction schedule, material orders, inspections, and job site logistics
- Maintaining positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and employees
- Preparing reports, schedules, and final punch lists
- Promoting job site safety and compliance with company policies and regulations
- Reviewing job cost reports, subcontractor scopes of work, and project plans
- Ensuring quality work and coordinating with various stakeholders for successful project completion
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a commercial superintendent
- Experience managing projects valued at $8 million and above
- Strong skills in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production in all construction phases
- Experience supervising large or multiple projects
- Willingness to travel within the state
- OSHA certification and safety/CPR certification are pluses
- Must be hands-on with strong leadership skills
