RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Commercial Construction Manager, you will oversee projects primarily in South Carolina with a focus on those valued at $8 million and higher. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising all on-site construction activities, coordinating trades and field personnel, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining construction safety practices
• Managing construction schedule, material orders, inspections, and job site logistics
• Maintaining positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and employees
• Preparing reports, schedules, and final punch lists
• Promoting job site safety and compliance with company policies and regulations
• Reviewing job cost reports, subcontractor scopes of work, and project plans
• Ensuring quality work and coordinating with various stakeholders for successful project completion

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a commercial superintendent
• Experience managing projects valued at $8 million and above
• Strong skills in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production in all construction phases
• Experience supervising large or multiple projects
• Willingness to travel within the state
• OSHA certification and safety/CPR certification are pluses
• Must be hands-on with strong leadership skills
