Compliance Supervisor

Major Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensuring a safe working environment for plant personnel, contractors, and visitors.
• Collaborating with team members to develop, maintain, and promote a proactive and action-oriented safety culture.
• Encouraging employee engagement and commitment to continuous improvement of the NERC program.
• Overall responsibility for implementing the NERC Internal Compliance Plan.
• Conducting annual reviews and updates of site-specific NERC compliance procedures.
• Creating, coordinating, and implementing NERC compliance programs and plans in line with corporate policy and management system to ensure compliance with permit and regulatory requirements.
• Preparing all NERC reports and notifications or overseeing their preparation.
• Conducting assessments to ensure ongoing compliance with site NERC requirements and developing action plans to address identified issues.
• Serving as the primary interface with regulators, including preparing for and coordinating inspections, responding to information requests, and managing enforcement actions.
• Providing NERC training to site personnel and maintaining their training records.
• Maintaining NERC records in accordance with internal guidance and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating NERC contractors and testing teams.
Education/Experience Required
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a power plant or power-related industry.
• Knowledge of and experience with NERC rules and regulations is desirable, as well as experience with electrical relay maintenance, IT security, and regulatory reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret standards set by governmental agencies and effectively communicate these requirements to plant personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend and prepare written and oral communications, perform mathematical calculations, and present facts, conclusions, and recommendations in written and oral form.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
