Compounding Operations Supervisor

- The Compounding Supervisor will oversee a 3 shift department of chemical, mixing, and batching
- Must have experience in a chemical, mixing, blending, batching or reaction process

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day compounding departments, ensuring smooth production processes, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and identify development opportunities.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement manufacturing strategies, goals, and objectives. Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
- Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Implement and oversee process optimization initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. Implement and maintain effective safety programs and practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain, to drive operational excellence, resolve issues, and optimize overall performance.
Requirements:
- BS/BA is required; ideally in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or other science or engineering degrees
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, must have experience in the chemical, blending, batching and related industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving operational goals.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change, foster innovation, and implement best practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, such as OSHA, EPA, and industry standards.
