Building Supervisor

Note: The role requires on-site presence in Boston from Monday to Thursday, with remote work on Fridays unless traveling.
Note: This position involves up to 50% travel to locations such as Florida, Georgia, Oregon, Puerto Rico, and Canada.

Our client is a multi-unit franchisee of a well-known fitness brand, managing more than 50 health clubs in various locations across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada. The team operates from downtown Boston, fueling their achievements with collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the construction process for new club constructions, renovations, and moves
- Ensure all projects adhere to brand design standards, remain within budget, and meet deadlines
- Manage and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and project schedules
- Conduct on-site visits and deliver regular progress updates
- Review project blueprints, work scopes, and financial plans
- Collaborate with architects, local authorities, and internal teams for smooth project implementation
- Authorize contractor payments and manage permit procedures
- Utilize project management software (e.g., Asana or Excel) to oversee multiple projects concurrently
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in construction project management (franchise or retail experience preferred)
- Solid background in site planning, vendor management, and overseeing multiple projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and project management tools
- Experience in budgeting, estimating, and scheduling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus
- Readiness to travel up to 50% of the time (to various locations)
