Construction Site Supervisor
POSITION: Construction Site Supervisor - Industrial Projects - 80% office role with some travel. Please no Residential Construction. Must have Industrial or commercial exp. Must have work authorization in US.
OVERVIEW:
We are in need of a Construction Site Supervisor to lead the implementation of industrial construction projects from start to finish. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely completion of projects, within the allocated budget, and in compliance with specifications and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in industrial or commercial construction, with experience in managing subcontractors, internal teams, and project finances.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and ensure the successful execution of construction projects, meeting milestones within the established schedule and budget.
Interpret specifications to formulate project budgets and timelines.
Coordinate labor, subcontractors, and internal resources to meet project requirements.
Provide clear instructions, estimates, drawings, and timelines to internal teams and clients.
Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage the procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment.
Monitor project progress through reports and adjust workflows as necessary.
Maintain regular communication with clients to manage changes, address issues, and provide updates.
Work closely with internal departments such as engineering, accounting, and warranty services.
Track financial performance, verify expenses, and ensure accurate invoicing.
Assist in resolving warranty claims after project completion, if applicable.
Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, internal guidelines, and safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in construction project management (preferably industrial/commercial projects).
Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
Ability to understand and interpret P&ID diagrams and engineering drawings.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
