Construction Manager

Location: Colwich, KS

The position of Construction Manager is available in Colwich, KS. The Construction Manager will oversee industrial construction projects to ensure they are completed within schedule and budget.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise personnel and resources to ensure project execution and delivery on time and within budget.
  • Develop project budget and schedule based on specifications.
  • Provide customers with necessary information and documents for project completion.
  • Schedule subcontractors and labor and coordinate with internal departments for resource allocation.
  • Procure and deliver tools, equipment, and materials for continuous project workflow.
  • Maintain accountability for project functions and adjust schedules and material usage if needed.
  • Communicate with owners to resolve conflicts and negotiate changes.
  • Prepare reports to track project progress.
  • Advise senior management of potential project problems and assist in resolution.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure project deliverables.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, payments, and invoices.
  • Assist warranty department in evaluating warranty claims.
  • Ensure project work is completed according to specifications, schedule, and safety.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Science Management or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of construction project management experience.
  • Industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project is required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Ability to read P&ID's and engineering drawings.
  • 25% travel required.
