Salary: $75-95K plus bonus

Job Summary of the Continuous Improvement Engineer: We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and advancement of Lean processes. You will serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and assistance to our leadership team on lean-related matters.

Qualifications of Continuous Improvement Engineer:

  • Identify and utilize best practices in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
  • Develop and identify opportunities for improvement across the organization.
  • Evaluate industry requirements and internal Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements to develop effective procedures and instructions.
  • Provide expertise to investigate and resolve quality issues and establish continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and facilitate projects generated from our High-Performance Team Board process.
  • Oversee the installation and implementation of ISO-9001 quality management systems.

Responsibilities of the Continuous Improvement Engineer:

  • Hold an Engineering degree, ideally in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Possess 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering experience.
  • Have expertise in ISO-9000 and internal auditing.
  • Experience with CORE, Lean, or Six-Sigma.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements in manufacturing, product, and customer quality processes.
  • Utilize knowledge and expertise to develop and maintain prevention, root cause corrective action, quality control systems, and protocols.
  • Facilitate process flow visualization and communication for stakeholders and teams.
  • Establish relationships with leadership and individual contributors to influence culture and drive change.
  • Manage projects with minimal oversight, set objectives, and guide others for operational results.
  • Requirements: Engineering degree.
  • Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, sharing clear objectives, risks, opportunities, and value statements.
  • May require up to 10% travel.
