  • Minimum of 8 years of practical programming experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in automation or controls

  • Salary offered is $125,000 per year for qualified candidates

This full-time, permanent Controls Automation Supervisor - Industrial Manufacturing role is with a reputable commercial product manufacturer in Wausau, WI. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing Automation Technicians and Programmers, providing guidance, training, and oversight
  • Managing control system design, programming, panel construction, wiring, and commissioning while ensuring safety and code compliance
  • Independently handling multiple automation projects, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring seamless system integration
  • Collaborating with customers on project requirements, providing technical support, and traveling for on-site visits and commissioning
  • Enforcing safety standards, approving designs, managing part procurement, conducting quality audits, and handling administrative tasks

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 8 years of automation programming experience
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience in automation or controls
  • A.S. degree in electromechanical or automation engineering technology required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong work history and commitment to professional development
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder
  • Residence within a 45-minute commute distance
