Sustainability Manager - Nashville, TN

Job Description

*Local candidates only at this time. Location is approximately (30) minutes northwest from downtown Nashville, TN. Travel up to 50% across the US and hybrid work available when not traveling (3 days in the office/2 work from home).

Our company is currently seeking a highly experienced Sustainability Manager to oversee regulatory compliance in our industrial business segments throughout the United States, with a strong emphasis on air - major source permitting and reporting. This is a senior-level position reporting to the VP of Environmental.

Candidates should possess industrial manufacturing experience, preferably in metals, automotive, steel, or similar industries. The role entails ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maintaining a strong focus on air quality.

Technical Requirements:

1. Proficiency in compliance reporting, including handling major air source reporting, Title V permits, and leading plants through the permitting process.
2. Experience with compliance testing, including RATA testing for various processes such as glass, paints, kilns, and driers.
3. Knowledge of reporting requirements for EPCRA TRI and Tier II.
4. Familiarity with solid and hazardous waste regulations at both state and federal levels.
5. Understanding of DMR water submittals and the monthly, quarterly, and yearly requirements.
